Teaching Areas Marketing

Teaching Interests:

Dr. Robbins' teaching interests are in professional selling and sales management, marketing strategy, retailing, principles of marketing, and MBA and EMBA marketing management.

Research Interests:

Dr. Robbins' research interests include retailing and small business management, non-profit marketing, and marketing education. He has consulted with small businesses through Winthrop's Small Business Development Center and Small Business Institute. Dr. Robbins has published in The Journal of Retailing, The Journal of Small Business Management, The Journal of Marketing Education, The Strategic Management Journal, The Journal of Teaching in International Business, The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Global Business Languages. He has also presented papers which appear in the proceedings of The American Marketing Association Marketing Summer Educator's Conference, The Southern Marketing Association, The Southwestern Marketing Association, The Atlantic Marketing Association, The South East Decision Science Institute, The Institute of Management Science, The American Marketing Association Collegiate Conference Faculty Track, Southern Industrial Relations and Human Resource Conference, and The Eastern Michigan University Language & Communication for World Business and the Professions Conference
