Dr. Stanley holds a Ph.D. in finance from Texas A&M University, an M.B.A in finance from the University of Cincinnati, and a B.A. in drama from Kenyon College. She was most recently a member of the faculty of the University of South Florida – Sarasota/Manatee. Prior to obtaining her Ph.D., Dr. Stanley worked for several large corporations including the Limited, Inc. and Mercantile Stores Co., and as a financial analyst for a privately-held publishing company. Dr. Stanley’s research interests include corporate governance, managerial compensation, agency problems and financial institutions. Her research has been presented at the Financial Management Association and the FDIC.
