The
accounting minor is for students who desire an understanding of
financial statement preparation, budgeting, costing, and accounting
systems. The minor is especially useful to students whose career
paths are in business, not-for-profit, or govern- mental
organizations where financial issues will be a major part of their
duties. |

Required Coursework:
15 semester hours to include ACCT 280,
ACCT 281, ACCT 305, ACCT 306 and one of the
following: ACCT 309, 401, or 509. Proficiency in computer
applications equivalent to the level
required for the successful completion of CSCI 101 and three from A, B, C
or P. |
