FINANCE
All businesses are affected
directly or indirectly through the influence of money and
capital markets, taxes, inflation, interest rates, and
government policies. Furthermore, businesses must
understand the importance of effective investment and wise
generation of short-term and capital funding. The
financial management option prepares students to understand both
the external and internal relationships and how financial
decisions impact the value of an organization. Courses in
the finance option include intermediate and advanced financial
management, investment management, and international finance.
